August 1996 | Alternative Press Tizzy are traveling to New Jersey with drumsticks flying, melodic yet tough vocals, sparse bass, and guitars dancing on the top. "Betty ..." follows the follies of friendship/love between two ladies. Jangly guitars and uncontrolled drumming spit out everywhere and will make you want to move to the East Coast- and buy their record. "Wives"orchestrates the fine art of chauvinism through a clamor of drums and general noise/distortion. The flipside strings light, humming vocals above a messy mesh of instruments. As "Igloo" progresses, the vocals rise with intensity and then closes with feedback. Added value: personal information on each band member is included. |
